Start Up Capital

Start Up Capital

New or expansion businesses are often unable to qualify for financing. This may be due to the lack of track record, lack of equity, or other perceived risks. While FreshWorks is primarily a financial and technical assistance program, in certain, limited cases we may be able to help very high impact projects with start up capital, structured as an investment or royalty loan.

In order to be considered for FreshWorks startup capital, your project or enterprise must be able to demonstrate the potential for significant mission impacts related to healthy food access for low-income communities in the FreshWorks target geographies. In addition, you will need to provide a detailed, well-considered business plan, and be able to demonstrate that you have the appropriate skills and knowledge to execute the business plan.

If you are interested in speaking with FreshWorks staff about your project and the potential for start-up capital, please submit your information through our contact page.
